Commodore designed, supplied and installed a large commercial fully off grid system for Magnum Australia to run the clients commercial research and development workshop centre . Magnum was in a tricky situation, where they only had single phase power on site (grid power), however required three phase power. If Magnum elected to stay on the grid and upgrade their transformer, they would have have had to pay $100,000. After working with Commodore, we designed a system which is well and truly capable of meeting Magnum’s power demands for a cost similar to upgrading the transformer. This is a great result for the organisation as they now have no electricity bills, which in turn, is providing them with a fantastic Return on Investment by going Off Grid. Magnum’s system includes the following components:
55kVa of Victron 48V 15kVA Inverter Chargers x 3
Quattro 48V 10kVA
Fronius 3 Phase 25kW Solar Inverter
5 x 15.4kWh BYD LVL 48V Lithium Battery Bank with 77kWh
106 x 330W Premium JA Solar Panels (34.98kW)
