Commodore designed, supplied and installed a small/medium off grid power solution for Atiyah Cafe in Melbourne’s CBD.
The customers goal was to run their cafe entirely independent of any mains power, the system utilises a solar array, Victron inverter and BYD lithium battery bank, all coupled up with a bio diesel generator. Situated in the middle of Federation Square, the system posed a number of logistical issues for the installation, resulting in a number of the contractors initially hired by the customer to pull out of the job. The Commodore team were able to overcome the hurdles and safely install the system, resulting in a very happy customer. Artiyah’s system includes the following components:
Quattro 48V 10kVA
4 x 2.56kWh BYD LVL 48V Lithium Battery Bank – total 10.24kW storage
8 x 370W Premium JA Solar Panels (2.97kW)
