Description

These floating level switches have two connection options – switch closed when float up OR switch closed when float down – making them compatible with our Solar DC pump controllers. This also enables them to be used for switching off a pump when a tank is full, switching off pump when a water source is low or switching on a pump when a water level rises such as a sump.

An alternative to the standard tank level switch as included with many of our Solar DC pumps, and great for use in sump & dirty water pumping applications as they are sealed from the surrounding water.

The included cable weight allows controlling when the pump is started based on the difference in water height. For example, a short hanging section of cable after the weight switches the pump on if the water drops or rises by a few inches, a long hanging section of cable switches the pump on after the water rises or drops a few feet.
