GOVERNMENT SOLAR PUMP REBATES AND GRANTS WITH DROUGHT RELIEF SUBSIDIES
Government rebates and subsidies are now available for Commodore solar pump systems, several different options are now available for water infrastructure upgrades within the different states of Australia which are available for our solar pumps to help with drought relief and water upgrades.
Commodore Solar Pump systems are eligible for these rebates providing you meet the criteria detailed in the documents below, many of our customers have already claimed and received these rebates for our pump systems.
STC Solar panel rebate – this is the most common rebate available for CEC approved solar panels, ideal for larger pump jobs and off grid that require more than 12 panels. For example with 24x 270w solar panels this is 6.48kW which would be around a $3600 rebate as of November 6, 2019 – https://www.green-bank.com.au/stc/calculate
Victorian Government Drought relief support grants:
Grant 1) A rebate is available for 25 % of the cost of purchase, delivery and/ or professional installation of on-farm water infrastructure for animal welfare needs and to improve resilience to drought, **UP TO $25,000 maximum rebate available per farm enterprise- full details CLICK HERE
Grant 2) A Grant of up to $5000( ex- gst) per farm business is available to assist eligible farm business’s to implement on-farm infrastructure improvements. Eligible Farmers are required to provide at least a dollar for dollar fund matching contribution.( IE the government will pay half of the cost of goods bought ( up to $5000 back from the government) Many of our customers who have bought solar pumps in drought affected areas have already received rebates from these grants ( Full story here: CLICK HERE )
On-Farm Energy Tier-1 Grants :
Tier 1 grants support projects that will improve energy efficiency which may, reduce energy costs and boost energy productivity. The grants will do this through actions such as the purchase and installation of equipment that improves the energy efficiency or enables own-generation capacity. CLICK HERE
QLD Government Drought relief support grants:
A rebate is available for 50 % of the cost of purchase, delivery and/ or professional installation of on-farm water infrastructure for animal welfare needs and to improve resilience to drought, **Initial rebate amount is up to $20,000 with possibility to be increased to $50,000 in certain circumstances. maximum rebate available per farm enterprise- for full details CLICK HERE
Dairy Farmers Energy Investment Grant – This grant supports projects on dairy farms that will improve energy efficiency which may reduce energy costs and boost energy productivity.
