ENERGY EFFICIENT COMMUNITIES PROGRAM – DAIRY FARMING BUSINESS GRANTS
A rebate is available to support Australian dairy cow farming businesses to save energy through:
- Replacing existing equipment with higher efficiency equipment
- Installing or replacing an existing system to run more efficiently
- Carrying out farm energy audits
- Carrying out activities to monitor energy usage and emissions
There is approximately $10 million available for this grant, and successful applicants can access up to $20,000 in payments. For more information CLICK HERE
GOVERNMENT SOLAR PUMP REBATES AND GRANTS WITH DROUGHT RELIEF SUBSIDIES
Government rebates and subsidies are now available for Commodore solar pump systems, several different options are now available for water infrastructure upgrades within the different states of Australia which are available for our solar pumps to help with drought relief and water upgrades.
Commodore Solar Pump systems are eligible for these rebates providing you meet the criteria detailed in the documents below, many of our customers have already claimed and received these rebates for our pump systems.
STC Solar panel rebate – this is the most common rebate available for CEC approved solar panels, ideal for larger pump jobs and off grid that require more than 12 panels. For example with 24x 270w solar panels this is 6.48kW which would be around a $3600 rebate as of November 6, 2019 – https://www.green-bank.com.au/stc/calculate
Victorian Government Drought relief support grants:
A rebate is available for 25 % of the cost of purchase, delivery and/ or professional installation of on-farm water infrastructure for animal welfare needs and to improve resilience to drought, **UP TO $25,000 maximum rebate available per farm enterprise- full details CLICK HERE
On-Farm Energy Assessment:
Supporting farms to replace energy inefficient equipment, install more energy efficient systems and enable own-generation capacity. This assessment analyses on-farm energy use (such as electric, gas & diesel) to identify opportunities to make energy savings, improve the volume of outputs per energy unit & convert to renewable energy sources. The assessment will make recommendations tailored to the type & size of farms. CLICK HERE for more information.
On-Farm Energy Tier-1 Grants :
Tier 1 grants support projects that will improve energy efficiency which may, reduce energy costs and boost energy productivity. The grants will do this through actions such as the purchase and installation of equipment that improves the energy efficiency or enables own-generation capacity. CLICK HERE
QLD Government Drought relief support grants:
A rebate is available for 50 % of the cost of purchase, delivery and/ or professional installation of on-farm water infrastructure for animal welfare needs and to improve resilience to drought, **Initial rebate amount is up to $20,000 with possibility to be increased to $50,000 in certain circumstances. maximum rebate available per farm enterprise- for full details CLICK HERE
