24v Battery banks
There are three types of voltages available in battery banks – 12v, 24v and 48v.
Batteries are best combined in series, not parallel (especially lead acid). If you want a bigger battery capacity you tend to end up with more cells in series, which gives a higher voltage.
So in general, bigger systems lend themselves to higher voltages. 12v works well in car/caravan scale, 24v to cabin scale and 48v to house scale.
24v has one advantage over 48v: DC appliances are readily available similar to 12v, eg caravan water pumps, camping fridges.
You can view our range of 24v battery banks below.
Delkor 6V deep cycle GC2 batteries are designed to withstand the stress of repeated, severe deep cycling. The Delkor 6v 232Ah leads the line with 53% more cycles than the leading competitors.

lead carbon batteries have the advantages of both lead-acid batteries and super capacitors. It not only improves the ability of rapid charge and discharge, but also greatly prolongs the battery life.
Lead-Carbon batteries combine the benefits of Super-Capacitor or Ultra-Capacitor technology (nano carbon) with a sealed battery giving around twice the service life of a good quality AGM/OPzV battery. 5 years full warranty.
